OK Y'ALL, I may be a tad bit late on this, but better late than never right?! I. just. discovered. *drum roll please*... DANCE GAVIN DANCE. Yeah, I'm starting to feel lame as it is not knowing for the longest time what half these new "hip" lingos and dances are of this time. Gosh, you are in for some tunes is all I can say. Literally fucking speechless. Dance Gavin Dance is a post-hardcore band based in Sacramento, California, and formed in 2005. The band currently consists of Tilian Pearson (clean vocals, yeah that's the pretty lad on the mic), Jon Mess (unclean vocals), Will Swan (lead guitar), Tim Feerick (bass guitar), and Matthew Mingus (drums, percussion). You can say I am currently binge listening to this band. Each track is just SO GOOD!

When I met my husband, and discovered his taste in music, I knew immediately knew we were a match made in heaven. From listening to bands such as Tool to Red Hot Chili Peppers, he swept me off my feet, that is until RHCP announced their new single for their current album, which is out now, Dark Nece-

ssities. When first listening to the self titled song... I am not going to sugar coat it, I thought it was hella WACK. But he insisted we purchase the album any way. Still at this point I was not too fond of even giving the album a chance (I know, so not like me) but like everyone else I'm human. Besides the fact of hating the song from their new album, I was a tad bit annoyed at the fact that their old guitarist, John Frusciante having zero association with the album. BUT, the musical angels from the heaven of some record store sent my husband down into my world because in conclusion what I can tell you is Dark Necessities is my favorite album of 2016!!! Red Hot Chili Peppers are definitely evolving their music to something greater, still feeling like I belong in Cali when listening to their music. Do expect this to sound different from all of their previous albums. Less funk, but still fun. Can we fast forward to 3:34 real quick though?!

Please put in your best and fanciest headphones for this track and turn the volume all the way UP. Palisades have come a long way, through hard work and transition through music itself. From tracks such as “High & Low” as they experimented with the keyboard, dub-step and hardcore sounds to "Outcasts" featuring Andy Leo of Crown The Empire. This new sound they have created after years of experimenting is on fire and will probably blow your socks off (mind out of the gutter y'all). Though the band isn't actively touring the US, they do have a new self titled album out that was released January 2017, so we can most definitely expect an upcoming tour.

For now we'd like to ask lead singer Louis Miceli Jr. to please keep his shirt on a little further because this is too much for us all to handle. Palisades is bringing sexy back to Metal-core music!

Beach Weather, You're Next Obsession

What more can you expect from Nick Santino. This track below is sexy, wait until you see it performed live. But before I jump to that let me introduce you to your next obsession, Beach Weather. Former front man of Rocket To The Moon, Nick Santino who is well known for collaborating and being apart of bands such as The Maine, The Bad Year and The Midway Class, hasn't set away from his ways of swooning us with his voice and melodies. We were all pretty devastated when Rocket To The Moon announced they were parting ways (especially since I was actually at their show when they announced that, crazy right?!) but after lat week's and discovering this project of his I have absolutely no complaints. Opening up for The Maine last night at Gas Monkey Bar N' Grill along side with The Mowgli's (Yeah they were too hype and hippie for me) Beach Weather not only brought the weather, because it was hella nice out by the pond but they totally rocked it on stage. Nick Santino is known for his musical talents and we wish the band loads of love and success even though they won't need it at all. We are going to throw it back for the older listeners we have here. From what we've heard, many have lost it to this song (if you know what we mean) and that it was a TOTAL HIT in the 80's. "I wanted to be with you alone and talk about the weather" is where they had us. Breath taking isn't it? It was the band's tenth single release in the United Kingdom

(the fourth taken from their second LP Songs from the Big Chair) and eighth UK Top 40 hit, peaking at No. 12 in July 1985. In the United States, it was the third single from the album and continued the band's run of hits there, peaking at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. A limited edition four-leaf clover shaped picture disc was issued for the single's release in the UK. The song was also an international success, reaching the Top 40 in several countries. Oh, how rude of us to not formally introduce the band to you all. Tears For Fears are an English pop/rock band formed in Bath, Avon (now in Somerset since 1996) in 1981 by Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith. Where are they now? Tears For Fears will be starting their tour in Tulsa, Oklahoma May 4th, making their way around the US with stops in Canada and UK, ending their tour in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil September 22nd. We can hope for more sex appeal pop songs in the future can we?!

Recently I poured my heart out about this band and how much their music truly means to me. I am so psyched to be able to see them April 13, 2017 at Gas Monkey Bar N' Grill. I can already tell you that the weather is going to be hella nice and warm for those of you attending this show in Dallas. great view of the stage over looking the pond. Don't miss this show! I know you must hear that all the time. So I will break it down for you. Gas Monkey Dallas have established a very professional and friendly environment in their venues. You don't have to worry about paying for parking. Artists such as PJ Harvey and Metric, come The Cardigans. How awful for me to have waited this long to introduce you all to. Swedish rock band formed in Jönköping, Sweden, in 1992, by guitarist Peter Svensson, bassist Magnus Sveningsson, drummer Bengt Lagerberg, keyboardist Lars-Olof Johansson and lead singer Nina Persson, with the line-up remaining unchanged to this day. Talk about tight bond mate. If you are thinking, "where have I heard this song before?," it featured in the 1999 films Never Been Kissed and The Thirteenth Floor. You think that rings a bell. Anyone and everyone who owned a radio blasted "Lovefool" which was a TOTAL HIT in the US and Japan, where the album reached platinum status in three weeks. The album also achieved gold sales status in the US. "Lovefool" was shown on MTV in the late 1990s

as a music video with clips from the 1996 hit film Romeo + Juliet starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes. It also featured in the film Cruel Intentions (1999). Band is currently touring in Europe as we are hoping there is news in the future for a US Tour.

You may all know them as the guys who opened up for Twenty One Pilots for their Emotional Roadshow tour 2 years ago but we know them as a super underrated band that will soon replace Coldplay and all y'all asshats will sit there and jam out like, 'Oh my gosh, this band rocks!' I will then have you refer back to this post and make you feel dumb for not discovering them NOW. Very similar to bands such as Keane and Coldplay, MUTEMATH deliver, performance wise, on a whole another level. It's one of those cases where you would have to see it and believe it for yourself. I was going to say how I sense a new album after hearing newest song, "Bad Behavior" by The Maine but as always they have beat me to it. My spider senses were tingling I guess. Okay, totally pushing aside the corny jokes now. I have grown tremendously with this band, I have cried with them, I have laughed with them, they seem to understand it all and have helped me get through the best of times and the worst. Previous TVG member and my little sister Farah Glass put me on to The Maine. And when they made a stop in Houston, TX back in 2011 I had to see them. I fell in love. Why does each song speak to me, I felt a connection. From Forever Halloween to American Candy and many albums before, I have continued to follow and listen to the band. We have a pretty solid relationship you can say. On stage and off, the members of The Maine share a genuine connection with their fans, and that means a lot to me, because for a second you forget they are a band and view them as people who you can share your pain and laughter with. Lovely Little Lonely is set to be their 14th album (including previous EPs) which is dated to release April 7. Great news if you are in Dallas! They will be performing at Gas Monkey Live, April 13. I most definitely will be there so be sure to come by and enjoy the music!

I am so excited to share this band. My first encounter took place last year at USA Celebration in Allen. I stood in the middle of the stage in between the concessions, and with my funnel cake in my hand I gazed at the band performing and thought "Wow, these guys are so good." Most music now days is very limited to a specific genre, not everyone will listen to metal and rap or even country. Always The Alibi have a very well rounded sound to where I believe they have what it takes to make it mainstream. Last week I got to know them off stage and was given their newest EP, Reprieve, to listen to, which I have to admitted, I have been binge listening to since then. I really have to also give this band kudos for being so genuine and welcoming. In the two years I have been running and

interviewing for TVG, I have never had a band that I interviewed that showed up super early to the interview as I did and bring me and my husband who was with me a copy of their EP.
