Could it be because Bruno Mars is on this track that makes it so damn catchy? I used to be anti Cardi B, something about her persona just made me shut her and her music down. I am pretty sure the radio is blasting this track like crazy, but who listens to the radio anymore? My sister pretty much forced me to listen to this song since we were in her car, which means there was only room for one DJ on stage. I found myself shaking my hips and swaying from the left to right while listening to this song. "Finesse" takes it back almost 3 decades with sounds similar to your favorite 90's pop and hip hop songs. The whole ambiance of this song and music video is so damn nostalgic and DAMN GOOD. Cardi, I had my doubts about you but you a bad bitch with good music.

It all started with a Netflix commercial where I would continue to hear "Trip Switch" every time it aired and that was when I realized that this was the start to a beautiful journey for Nothing But Thieves. Just released with two separate album arts is their 2nd album, Broken Machine which isn't as dark as their first self titled album. Broken Machine will throw curve balls at you when it comes to their melodies and beats. I would like to thank the members of Nothing But Thieves for giving us something to believe in because this album is so relatable in every aspect no matter who you are, it's frightening and pleasing at the same time.

#WomanCrushWednesday is always dedicated to women we admire in all aspects and today goes out to our Queen of Rock, having slayed the stage since the early 90's, Miss Shirley Manson, Front woman of band Garbage. Can you believe this woman is 51?! This my friends is a great example of aging gracefully because having seen Garbage perform 3 times the past 3 years I can definitely assure you seeing Shirley on stage will make you want to raid her closet. Enough girl talk here. If you remember Garbage as the pop grungy rock band, you're missing out on the grown version of the band we grew up listening to if you have not already listened to their newest album, Strange Little Birds. Keeping in touch with their musical roots, this album is more mellow than the previous but just as good. The music has grown beautifully over the years and I can only imagine how profound their next album will be.

These guys have been rocking it hard lately. Along with their Headlining Headspace Tour with special guest Volumes, Too Close to Touch and Sylar. Luckily, Issues performance will land in Dallas on the day of Halloween. is. Michael Bohn (screamer)!!! Over the years Issues have massively grown musically, not to mention in their music videos and the ultimate messages behind them. Honestly, if I were handed a dollar for every music video where all I watched was the band perform, I'd have a record label by now. That's what shows are for, right?! In this video, you don't even see the band once. Alongside with "Hooligans" being my favorite track by the band, I love how real this video.

So it's been a while, (not like Staind) more like a summer break. But I just recently got a new whip. Having to update myself from the Charger, something I was missing out on was experiencing satellite radio xm sirius, which is hella cool if you are a throwback fanatic like myself. I listen to the Pop 8o's and 2k Hits stations. With that being said I heard this and instantly remembered this corny ass track frontmens of Nickelback and Saliva collabed on this duo for Spiderman Movie. It's hella cheesy. Thought I could share this cheesy/ cringe moment with you all. *OMG I'm crying*

"Do you remember, the other half of 23?" I honestly have never seen a band continuously evolve and improve as much as The Maine. As I witnessed them rock the stage at my favorite venue, Gas Monkey Bar N' Grill a couple months ago, I looked around and didn't see the crowd lost in music but very much engaged. Gas Monkey Live and Gas Monkey Bar N' Grill have set both their venues with a welcoming vibe, from the mood, the musical acts, their employees, the attendees to the free parking. There are hundreds of reasons why I really enjoy my time at Gas Monkey venues, but one thing that sets Gas Monkey Bar N' Grill aside from any other venue in Dallas is the stage where artists perform over looking a gorgeous pond fully lit that will have you gazing for hours. For a moment I forget I'm even in Dallas. Think you missed out?... ABSOLUTELY NOT. The Maine are making another trip to Dallas Saturday, November 18 this year, and fortunately for everyone they are performing at Gas Monkey Bar N' Grill AGAIN! I sense The Maine and a ton of future artists marking their territory because there ain't no other place to truly jam out other than your own, Gas Monkey Dallas. Purchase your tickets HERE!

I shot pictures for Issues a couple of months ago, not knowing who they were (yeah, someone slap me with a CD cover) and after the show, because their energy was that hype, I decided to do some exploring on YouTube, and now I’m obsessed!!! This is definitely a great mixture of Metal-core, Electronic and R&B. Yup, you read it right, I said R&B… let’s say it together… R&B. Currently touring in Japan & surrounding areas, we hope to catch

It hasn't been very long since I've last spoken about Dance Gavin Dance but REALLY, this is seriously off the chain! (Yes, that term is still used, at least with my age group) Already a fan of "That's What I Like" originally by Bruno Mars himself, Dance Gavin Dance have decided to add some pizzazz to the track and really make it their own. Like who cares about the Bruno Mars version!? (I don't anymore) Besides the cover itself, the band's music idea and the creation behind it was just pure GENIUS. For a while I continued to watch and see if I had seen any of these tv ads
