 | Hearing DANGERKIDS, a band that I've been currently jamming out to religiously when I discovered them two weeks ago, at my favorite venue Gas Monkey Live was simply EPIC. First, I would love to point out some facts why Gas Monkey Live is my all time favorite venue. 1) it's smack down in the middle of dallas, no matter where you live, you don't have to drive out of your way to get there, even if you're in Fort Worth. 2) Parking at GML is FREE! You don't have to circle around the venue or worry about scraping the bottom of your car by parking on the grass. 3) For those of you over 21, they have a bar that goes around 360! So even with a full house, you don't have to struggle to order a drink. 4) The crowd is super friendly! I kid you not, no matter what event you are attending at the venue, the set mood is utterly fun and not rowdy! From the crowds to the employees, the goal is to have fun and not get hurt or disrespectful. 5) The lighting and sound system is WICKED. Standing in between the barriers right in front of the speakers can get super loud and cause headaches when shooting pictures. Yet, I have absolutely no problems when shooting at GML! And with the amazing lighting crew they have, you don't need a fancy canon in order to capture stellar pics. Now about DANGERKIDS. I don't want to completely reveal their talents, because I would like for you to attend their show personally and be blown away! If Memphis May Fire had kids with Linkin Park, it would be DANGERKIDS! |
