| I'm an old soul at heart so when I first heard 'Love on the Brain' I immediately fell in love. This song has a modernized old school soul feel to it. I've been listening to a lot of Frank Sinatra and Billie Holiday lately wishing there was more music similar to their sound out, then Rihanna breaks this one out! Apparently, this was the first song J Angel and Fred Ball wrote & produced together and they didn't even have Rihanna in mind for it. I don't religiously listen to Rihanna but I am sooo glad she ended up getting this one because she absolutely kills it. |  |
