Hey y'all. We're still alive. DON'T PANIC! Okay it's Boy Band Monday! JK... Do you all remember Big Time Rush? Former member Kendall Schmidt joined forces with touring guitarist of the band and created Heffron Drive, an American indie pop duo formed by Kendall Schmidt and Dustin Belt. The band has just released their second album (EP) Slow Motion. First album Happy Mistakes is one of our top 10 favorite albums of 2014. Having wrapped up their most recent tour last month, expect a round two because these guys are heading back on tour. Can for you fellas reading this right now, just STOP. The next few sentences will be dedicated to Kendall Schmidt and how soothing his voice is. That man will put you to bed. #TGIM!!

Beyond underrated, that is what Heffron Drive is when it comes to their music and as a band. Got me feeling some type of way, when I listen to this track. We've discussed Heffron Drive before, don't act like you don't know what I am talking about. Kendall Schmidt (with the dirty blonde hair) was formally with boy group Big Time Rush, then after 4 years of success, the band mutually agreed to part ways. Kendall parted ways with Dustin Belt, who was known to play the guitar for the music behind BTR. Then Heffron Drive was born. Happy Mistakes was their first album release back in 2014 and since then have released two singles, with the one below being one. Give it a listen!

Heffron Drive Release New Single "Don't Let Me Go"

You might recognize this dirty blonde bombshell Kendall Schmidt from Nickelodeon's TV show and boy band group Big Time Rush. Eventually Kendall parted ways from Big Time Rush to form his own band. Heffron Drive is an American indie pop duo formed by Kendall Schmidt and Dustin Belt, both originally from Kansas. It was originally formed in 2008 after Kendall and Dustin met each other by chance and realized they lived on the same street, Heffron Drive, Burbank, California. After a brief stint as a band together when Kendall was 17 and Dustin was 20, Kendall joined Big Time Rush and Dustin played as the touring guitarist. Their first and most recent album release was Happy Mistakes which was released in 2014. Fast forward two years later, Heffron Drive have been releasing singles which may lead to a new album this year. Below you will find one of my favorite tracks from Happy Mistakes,

It's happening, you guys. A Big Time Rush reunion is freakin' happening!!! Okay... so mayyyyybe we don't have all the details on the band reconvening for the first time in years, but after Teen.com spoke to Kendall Schmidt, we think it's safe to say it's definitely in the works. Give me a brief moment while I fan girl myself and scream bloody murder of excitement. BRB!

Sucker for pop music, and boy bands combined, I was introduced to this pop sensation group by my brother and seriously have kept up with their music since day one when their show Big Time Rush was debut on Nickelodeon. I can't say I have a favorite song by them because I really enjoy listening to them all as this is pretty much my go to artist when I lived in Houston in 2011. Crazy how music has the power to bring back so many memories. Not to mention to hotties in this group. Okay so now I am starting to sound like a fan girl. Ughh just listen to them yall. #Elevate
