This being my second time seeing New Found Glory was even better than the first. Vans Warped Tour is one of my favorite Festival that takes place annually and look forward to. Something about being outdoors, under the sun, surrounded by good live music and meeting new people is appealing to me. That is the definition of Good Summer Vibes. Our first year at TVG associating with the tour as Press was amazeballs. Below I took a video of the crowd because Vans Warped Tour wouldn't be anything with out the attendee and fans. "Fake My Own Death" by SUM 41 -NEW MUSIC

Sum 41 is BACK. As you may already know the Canadian band is known to have funky and interesting music videos. Good news is Brownsound is back in the band! Bad news... well there isn't any bad news. Formed in 1996 it's been officially 20 years for these guys in the music industry! Still no fucks given, and to prove that the band have featured some of the corrupt artists and celebrities in the Hollywood industry, there is a message behind this video and song guys! Heffron Drive Release New Single "Don't Let Me Go"

You might recognize this dirty blonde bombshell Kendall Schmidt from Nickelodeon's TV show and boy band group Big Time Rush. Eventually Kendall parted ways from Big Time Rush to form his own band. Heffron Drive is an American indie pop duo formed by Kendall Schmidt and Dustin Belt, both originally from Kansas. It was originally formed in 2008 after Kendall and Dustin met each other by chance and realized they lived on the same street, Heffron Drive, Burbank, California. After a brief stint as a band together when Kendall was 17 and Dustin was 20, Kendall joined Big Time Rush and Dustin played as the touring guitarist. Their first and most recent album release was Happy Mistakes which was released in 2014. Fast forward two years later, Heffron Drive have been releasing singles which may lead to a new album this year. Below you will find one of my favorite tracks from Happy Mistakes,

Yellowcard Announce Their FINAL & Farewell World Tour

Did you think we forgot about you all? Vans Warped Tour day 1 in Dallas had us super pumped and yet super exhausted from being super pumped! But do we have some good news for you! Wondering about this a couple days ago thinking, "What ever happened to Of Mice & Men?' Well here's the answer, NEW MUSIC by OF&M and their new stuff sounds similar to their older music genes. Could it be a throwback album?! Let us know your thoughts on the topic. Maybe next year around this time we will be able to catch them touring with Warped Tour since their new album is dropping in September! HAPPY MONDAY!

Disney Film “Pete’s Dragon”, to Feature Original Song Written by Andrew Tinker

Disney Film “Pete’s Dragon” to feature song written by Denton's Andrew Tinker

Hand Drawn Records artist and singer-songwriter, Andrew Tinker, has announced that one of his original compositions will be included in the upcoming Disney full-length feature film, “Pete’s Dragon”. The song is co-written with Toby Halbrooks, a long-time friend of Tinker since their days as members of the Polyphonic Spree, and co-writer of the screenplay with the film’s director, David Lowery (Ain't Them Bodies Saints 2013).

The song, “Nobody Knows (How to Say Goodbye),” has been recorded and performed by popular Denver trio, The Lumineers, with a single release date expected in the coming weeks.

In an interview with Tinker, he explained the process of songwriting specifically for a Disney film. “It is a very complex process. Like a series of steps within a larger series of steps. It was unclear how seriously the song was being considered until I was told that it was being recorded by the Lumineers. That was a real “WOW” moment”.

At Big Acre Sound Studios, near his hometown of Denton, Texas, Tinker is working in tandem with other songwriters to produce material for more, yet to be announced, studio projects. “I have been doing some writing with some friends in Dallas and in L.A. I am very excited about the people I am working with. It’s just the nature of being a songwriter”.

“Pete’s Dragon” is set for a US release date of August 12, 2016.

Performing at Warped Tour this year Houston, TX is a band called Waterparks. These guys seem like a pretty in your face quirky band. Why do we say that? Well their description of their music on their Facebook under About Me explain it all. Check them out!

Dallas, TX natives of course, newhaven seem like a really solid pure rock band. If you don't know what we mean by that, check them out at Warped Tour Dallas this year.
