Woah, did we just warp back into the early 2000's!? If all our favorite bands from over 10 years ago had a baby, it would be called Misery Loves Company. MLC are a Post-Emo band from South Jersey who bring an honest message to their listeners. In 2016,

the band signed with Revival Recordings, home to music groups Alesana, Famous Last Words, and The Funeral Portrait and are gearing up for an exciting year of touring and releases. Stemming from their love of all things horror and film, the band embraces the dark and mysterious while simultaneously bringing positive messages to their fans. The group hones in on powerful subjects like mental illness, relationship issues, and self-hardship to create a safe environment for listeners to rally behind. All this may sound depressing to you, but wait until you push play. Their newest album Love Notes and Highways is out NOW!

OK Y'ALL, I may be a tad bit late on this, but better late than never right?! I. just. discovered. *drum roll please*... DANCE GAVIN DANCE. Yeah, I'm starting to feel lame as it is not knowing for the longest time what half these new "hip" lingos and dances are of this time. Gosh, you are in for some tunes is all I can say. Literally fucking speechless. Dance Gavin Dance is a post-hardcore band based in Sacramento, California, and formed in 2005. The band currently consists of Tilian Pearson (clean vocals, yeah that's the pretty lad on the mic), Jon Mess (unclean vocals), Will Swan (lead guitar), Tim Feerick (bass guitar), and Matthew Mingus (drums, percussion). You can say I am currently binge listening to this band. Each track is just SO GOOD!

Previously having Farah Glass & SharFez interview the group when they did have a third member... does anyone remember what his name was? Chris Cornell, the unmistakable voice and frontman of the bands Soundgarden and Audioslave, died overnight in Detroit at the age of 52. He was discovered just past midnight at the MGM Grand Detroit, according to police.

The office of the Wayne County Medical Examiner on Thursday determined the cause of his death to be suicide by hanging, noting that a full autopsy has yet to be completed.

"His wife Vicky and family were shocked to learn of his sudden and unexpected passing, and they will be working closely with the medical examiner to determine the cause," Brian Bumbery, Cornell's representative, says in a statement. "They would like to thank his fans for their continuous love and loyalty and ask that their privacy be respected at this time." Cornell played a seminal role in the

origins of grunge music, founding Soundgarden in 1984 with Kim Thayil and Hiro Yamamoto. Together with other Seattle natives Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains, the band — and

Cornell's voice — would go on to define a sound that cherry-picked elements of punk and metal and distorted them into a distinctive brew all their own.

At Soundgarden's peak of popularity in the mid-1990s, the band's album Superunknown earned a Billboard No. 1 debut and a Grammy nomination for best rock record.

After the band broke up in 1997, Cornell pursued a solo career — though only for a few years. By 2001, he had helped found the supergroup Audioslave with several members of Rage Against the Machine. Audioslave released three albums before disbanding in 2007, as well.

In 2012, Soundgarden returned with its first studio album in about a decade and a half — a fact NPR's Rachel Martin mentioned in a 2015 interview with Cornell, shortly after he had just released a new solo album.Rachel asked him: Do you need both the band and the solo work to make you whole as an artist?

"I would live without both parts. But it's a lot more satisfying to have them. It's great to still be having new experiences with the same group of guys — because we invented a band together, and kind of co-invented a genre of music. Being able to come back and experience being a band together at a different time in our lives has been really rewarding, but it's also just really nice to still share some part of my life with these people that have been so important to it."

Cornell had been on tour in Detroit at the time of his death.

When I met my husband, and discovered his taste in music, I knew immediately knew we were a match made in heaven. From listening to bands such as Tool to Red Hot Chili Peppers, he swept me off my feet, that is until RHCP announced their new single for their current album, which is out now, Dark Nece-

ssities. When first listening to the self titled song... I am not going to sugar coat it, I thought it was hella WACK. But he insisted we purchase the album any way. Still at this point I was not too fond of even giving the album a chance (I know, so not like me) but like everyone else I'm human. Besides the fact of hating the song from their new album, I was a tad bit annoyed at the fact that their old guitarist, John Frusciante having zero association with the album. BUT, the musical angels from the heaven of some record store sent my husband down into my world because in conclusion what I can tell you is Dark Necessities is my favorite album of 2016!!! Red Hot Chili Peppers are definitely evolving their music to something greater, still feeling like I belong in Cali when listening to their music. Do expect this to sound different from all of their previous albums. Less funk, but still fun. Can we fast forward to 3:34 real quick though?!

Please put in your best and fanciest headphones for this track and turn the volume all the way UP. Palisades have come a long way, through hard work and transition through music itself. From tracks such as “High & Low” as they experimented with the keyboard, dub-step and hardcore sounds to "Outcasts" featuring Andy Leo of Crown The Empire. This new sound they have created after years of experimenting is on fire and will probably blow your socks off (mind out of the gutter y'all). Though the band isn't actively touring the US, they do have a new self titled album out that was released January 2017, so we can most definitely expect an upcoming tour.

For now we'd like to ask lead singer Louis Miceli Jr. to please keep his shirt on a little further because this is too much for us all to handle. Palisades is bringing sexy back to Metal-core music!

We want some of whatever these two are sippin' on. Wayfarers is an American indie pop duo based in both Los Angeles and New York. The band consists of Katie Cecil on vocals and Anthony Purpura on most everything else. Everything about Wayfarers, from their music, to their music videos, to their style is freshly upbeat and optimistic. Hearing "Just Our Style" excites to go out, explore and have a good time, especially with summer right around the corner. Can these guys officially be the definition of Good Vibes?! Having

toured with Demi Lovato and Echosmith, we are hoping they have a tour of their own soon!

Well here we see Miss Rebecca Black has traded in her converse sneakers for... STRIPPER HEELS?! Her newest single, "Foolish" is, well, pretty foolish. The star who is responsible for somewhat making Friday a bit tragic for us previously released "The Great Divide" which was heading towards a great direction, until the release of this foolish music video... see what i did there?!

Since the great old days of "Friday" our ears bled terribly, and will continue to bleed if she keeps producing music with no overall meaningful message or an artistic sense of direction. Though the billboards are going crazy over a grown version of the tween we were awfully exposed to... come on guys, we all grow and blossom to be this sexy old thang, well for the most part all of us. Rebecca you may look the part, but can you top the charts by mesmerizing us with

your music, not with this track sista. Though you're only at Strike two, let's see what the future holds for Rebecca Black.

"Told You So" by Paramore

Known for their fun and playful style, Paramore are now going into full force with their music matching their style... at least with this upcoming new album of theirs. Hayley Williams changing up her look from previous older music video "Still Into You" where she rocked pink hair and pink lipstick, to a blonde bombshell with bangs, and sexier look for "Told You So," stating our excitement for their new album "After Laughter" would be an understatement. Album is set to release May 12, only a few more days y'all!
