Currently in Dallas, TX...

It's raining, it's boring, we all are bound to start snoring. Yesterday Juan and I covered an interview with a local band to when a few awesome ideas had struck my oddly shaped brain (I'm pretty sure it looks odd). We want to step it up a notch, maybe more, if capable. I was always told to take baby steps, maybe I'll just vomit all of my ideas here at once. Blink-182 TOUR SCHEDULE

IT'S HAPPENING! Blink-182 are finally back! Below you will find their announced tour along side with A Day To Remember, All Time Low, All American Rejects, and DJ Snake. Our childhood dreams are slowly coming true with the artists we grew up listening to in high school making their way back to 2016, yeah they are about a decade or so late but hey we ain't complaining about them making a super flashy and unannounced appearance back into our lives. Counting down till their stop in DALLAS. This is bound to top anything that will take place in the summer. Unless we get a TVG Tour bus... That would probably be cooler... Just a little bit...

Every day is Jimmy day. Jimmy Eat World are at times confused with Death Cab For Cutie. I mean, both lead singers have such a soothing voices. I have impatiently been waiting for some more Jimmy Eat World in my life and that just might possibly happen soon. For those who may seem a bit confused, Jimmy Eat World are the reason I was drawn into music and are my all time favorite band!

Break Ups and Not Mending Them --Yellowcard at Warped Tour

Recently I heard a story about a person among my circle who had gone through a break up and needed advice on why her ex boyfriend was contacting her about getting back.

LADIES & GENTLEMEN my advice to you is that if you were previously in a relationship, and you were unhappy, why would you want to go back to experience the drama and troubles again? I've had my fairs and shares of bad relationships but instead of falling back in to an old one, the thought of a new one was exciting and scary at the time. I am currently engaged at the moment and am so grateful I wasn't a retard to fall back into the previous one when I was given the chance. I encourage you all to look into the future and be excited about what it may have in store for you.

On to other news, Yellowcard will be touring with Vans Warped Tour 2016. If you haven't purchased your tickets yet, YOU MUST. I took my fiance Joseph with me (never had attended one prior to last year) had a blast. Chilled out by the grass with our summer attire and some sunnys on and sipped on our drinks while watching our favorites artist perform... until you find out 15 minutes into your current set your next favorite artist is about to perform in 5 minutes on a stage that is on the opposite side of the pavilion, not stage, pavilion... that required a lot of speed walking which eventually turned into running. We have finally made it, we've been waiting for you Friday. Stone Temple Pilots have always been a well rounded bad. We don't mind Chester Bennington assisting the band though we prefer Scott Weiland as the lead singer. Rest in peace Scott Weiland, the band won't be the same with you and your awesome funky dance moves.

The Next Sound --Target Compilation Album from Early 2000's

GUYS, refraining from freaking out right now with pure happiness. This CD was found in my house (With the front missing of course) but isn't that what makes finding treasures like more exciting?! It has survived World War 2 and the CD plays without any hiccups. The Next Sound was a compilation that Target produced with their selection of artists and tracks they put together and was sold in Target stores for $5, I want to say back in early early 2000's. Unfortunately after The Next Sound Vol. 2 Target decided to stop producing the compilation album. This is pretty old to where I can't find any information of history of it online! Listening to these tracks was a wonderful trip down memory lane when I was just a tween discovering the world of music and exploring my thoughts about life. So for the next twelve days I would like to share this freaking awesome album with you. Some of the artists you may or may not recognize. I want to say from all the artists featured on the album, Something Corporate are probably the only one currently active as a band... Isn't that what makes the album even greater?! "Come Back Home" by Two Door Cinema Club

So indie, so good. Two Door Cinema Club are an Irish indie rock band from Bangor and Donaghadee in County Down. The band formed in 2007 and is composed of three members: Alex Trimble, Sam Halliday, and Kevin Baird. Can we talk about how soothing the lead singer, Alex Trimble's, voice is?! Their newest release has been released for a while now, in September 2013, Changing of the Seasons. We are hoping to hear more from this band because it's hard to find indie musicians that are right on point!

New Rita Repulsa Villain for New Power Rangers Movie

A few months ago, we were baffled—but also incredibly excited—that Elizabeth Banks would be playing Rita Repulsa, the classic, cackling villain of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, in the upcoming movie. And now that we’ve gotten to see what she looks like, and... no. Not like this, Power Rangers movie.

Just revealed by People, Bank’s costume isn’t just completely far removed from Rita’s look in the original series (where she was played in Japanese-made footage by Machiko Soga, and voiced in the Power Rangers dub by Barbara Goodson)... it’s just a total mess.

“It’s definitely a modern and edgy re-imagining of the original Rita Repulsa,” Banks tells the website. Well, yeah, because it looks absolutely nothing like Rita Repulsa.

I’m not saying the costume needed to be directly lifted from the original show, but this is so radically different that it might as well be a new villain. I’m suddenly a lot more anxious about seeing this movie’s take on the classic Power Rangers suits, considering this level of drastic “edgy re-imagining.”

Power Rangers is due for release March 24, 2017.
